Tarpon Springs Pirates Win National Bowl Game 26-23

The Tarpon Springs Pirates came into the Florida Bowl Championship game matched up against a tough Texas Colts team ready to take down a Florida team in their own back yard on January 16th. Early on it looked like the Pirates were going to run away with the game until the Colts made a 2nd half run that looked like they would pull out the comeback win, but that wasn't the case. The Pirates held on to win 26-23 and capture their 2nd National Bowl Championship in teams history.  The Pirates are excited about the win but now set their sights on the EAFL season as it approaches February 25th.
